Vice President Frase called the Director's Meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
Board members attending the meeting were Vice President H. Frase, Director D.
Anderson, Director D. Moehler, Director L. Kindell, Director R. McKinney,
Director R. Carafelly, Director C. Jolley, Secretary J. Hanley, Treasurer T.
Marsh, Range Officer L. Pillsbury, and Director B. Faulstich.
Motion made and passed to accept Secretary's minutes.
Treasurer Marsh presented the financial report:

OLD BUSINESS
Vice President Frase explained that the EPA is balking on giving the club a
release of liability for the WAFB range so it appears negotiations are back to
square one.
Nothing new to report on the raffle
Director Anderson will advertise the club swap slated for September 7th. two
weeks in advance of the event.
Secretary Hanley will have the range fee deposit box project completed by August
17th.
The formatting of a proposal to encourage more volunteer help was postponed in
the absence of President Wright.
Pig roast is all set for August 10th.
Director McKinney explained the Sheriffs office agreed to advertise the "Ladies
Day" event for the club.
Discussion was opened on the range rules sign. Eye protection requirement is the
only item missing. Motion made and passed to spend $75 for a weather proof
general range rules sign. It will be up to the person in charge of a special
event to distribute any special range rules to participants.
Director Faulstich will reprogram the electronic sign and return it to the club
this weekend.
Director McKinney opened discussion for review of age restriction on young
shooters using the range.
NEW BUSINESS
Volunteer needed to keep the road sign updated with event changes. Director
Anderson volunteered to be responsible for posting events.
Range Officer Pillsbury opened discussion on the club purchasing a copy machine.
Director McKinney will take care of the bulk of the club's printing needs.
Motion made & passed to purchase a copy machine for emergency copying needs.
Treasurer Marsh asked if there was interest in purchasing a shotgun-patterning
frame with 55 targets for $100. Motion made & passed to purchase a roll of 220
targets for $120 but not the frame offered.
Range Officer Pillsbury asked for funds to build a storage shed to house special
events equipment. Motion made & passed to allot $1,000 for the project. Work
will begin September 10th.
Discussion was opened on ways to inform the general membership of club events,
including work projects. Director Faulstich agreed to mail a 3-month calendar of
events to all club members.
Range Officer Pillsbury reminded board members that sight in days runs 10/27
through10/31 no charge to members, and 11/1 through 11/14 everyone pays.
