President Wright called the Director's Meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.

OLD BUSINESS
Member Neal Miller addressed the membership with an update on the WAFB range. He
will continue to pursue the matter and update the membership board as the issue
develops.
President Wright stressed the necessity of the calendar of events being updated
so Director Anderson posts accurate information on the road sign.
Director Anderson needs volunteers to help with the fall gun swap slated for
September 7th.
Secretary Hanley has the non-member range fee deposit box installed. Range
Officer Pillsbury will check on cost of envelopes to deposit the money in before
dropping it into the deposit box.
Director Carafelly still working on club hats with crossed shotguns on the
front.
The club copy machine has been purchased for a total of $219.00 including 3
reams of paper and ink cartridges.
President Wright opened discussion on ways to encourage more volunteer work time
from the membership.
NEW BUSINESS
Director Jolley suggested the club install a porta-potty on the range so
shooters can use the bathroom when the clubhouse is locked.
President Wright suggested all club events be scheduled through Range Officer
Pillsbury to avoid conflict of dates. Range Officer Pillsbury will in turn
forward the calendar of events to the club web master who will post the calendar
on the club web site.
President Wright announced the web master is willing to create a want-ad page on
the club web site for members to use to buy, sell, or swap.
President Wright asked permission to extend the range shooting time one hour
past sunset on October 19th. so his IDPA group who will be holding a
shoot/potluck can shoot after dinner. No action was taken.
Range Officer Pillsbury will be holding a training session 10/25 from 6-9pm. for
those who plan on helping with sight in days. He reviewed dates for sight in:
10/27-10/31 open to the public, no charge to member. From 11/1 through 11/14
everyone pays $5.00. The range is closed to all shooting from 11/15 until
1/2/03.
Director Kindell extended thanks to Nikki Pillsbury for preparing the dinner and
to member Ken Douglas for managing the club raffle.
Member Neal Miller announced that the 4-H group club members sponsor and help
with different events received friends of NRA grant for $2,500.
Range Officer Pillsbury reminded members of the work bee on 9/10 from 9-5 to
begin construction of the supply shed to be built on the range.
