President Wright called the Director’s Meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Treasurer T. Marsh, Director B. Faulstich, Director D. Moehler, and Director R.
Carafelly.

OLD BUSINESS
President Wright briefed the board on the meeting in Lansing that he and Range
Officer Pillsbury attended regarding the WAFB range stating it should have taken
place eight years ago. Everyone is finally on the same page. It was made clear
that the air force would be held responsible for their own contamination should
the issue ever be addressed. A letter of summary and a proposal to the club
should be in the mail within a month. The club does not meet criteria for being
tax exempt according to a letter received from Bob Stalker dated 10/18/02.
Director Moehler received an insurance quote from NRA of $1,900 per year. He
will compare coverage benefits between the NRA and present coverage held by the
club.
Range Officer Pillsbury had nothing new to report on the shooting shed.
Range Officer Pillsbury presented the envelopes and sign for the range fee
deposit box.
Director Jolley, Director McKinney and Director Faulstich will put together a
proposal to present at the March general membership dinner meeting regarding
membership dues increase and how a club member will be able to volunteer time
working at the club in lieu of paying the increase.
Range Officer Pillsbury explained that the kitchen will be redecorated by next
meeting.
Director Jolley reviewed his suggestion of a questionnaire to be sent to the
general membership asking members what their interests are. Among other
questions, asking members if they would like a club directory and if so would
they want their contact information included. If they own a business would they
want their business advertised in the directory. Director Jolley, Director
Faulstich, and Director McKinney will work on putting together a questionnaire.
President Wright asked the board if anyone had an objection to having their
e-mail address on the club web site so members could contact any board member
personally. Secretary Hanley will forward the information to the web master.
Director McKinney will check into a lock repair kit for the back door.
Range Officer Pillsbury explained the septic is OK for now.
NEW BUSINESS
Range Officer Pillsbury and President Wright will work on the 2003 calendar for
scheduling bench rest and IDPA shoots.
President Wright will have a couple of shirts made up with the club logo to
display at the March general membership meeting to see if there is any interest
in placing an order.
The March general membership dinner meeting will be a dish to pass, the club
will provide the meat. Cost will be $5.00 per person

Secretary Hanley pointed out that the timer on the exhaust fan is not working
properly so be sure to turn it off after use.
Tina Carafelly explained that once a member lets their membership lapse, they
must pay full rate to renew membership if less than one full club year has
passed.
President Wright went through the mailbag.

details posted on the bulletin board.
