Iosco Sportsmen’s Club Board of Director's Meeting
Wednesday, February 4, 2004

President Wright called the Director’s Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was answered by President D. Wright, Vice President H. Frase, Director D. Anderson, Secretary J. Hanley, Director C. Michalski, Range Officer L. Pillsbury, Director T. Dombroski, Director L. Kindell, and Treasurer T. Marsh.
Motion made and passed to accept the January meeting minutes.
Treasurer report:

OLD BUSINESS President Wright briefed the board on the progress of the Oscoda range proposal package.
Heating and cooling repair bids not available.
Shoot shed project on hold until Spring.
Septic field working fine right now.
Beginners gun class tabled for right now.
President Wright will need some help answering some of the questions in the paper work for the 501-C non profit status.
No discussion of ideas to use as fund-raisers. Range Officer Pillsbury reviewed the theme for the March dinner meeting “trash to treasure”.
Director Michalski distributed copies of the updated rules for the trap range. Discussion was had.
New target frames will be worked on in the Spring
President Wright will check on obtaining a new door for the storage room. Director McKinney not in attendance to brief the board on his progress of calculating the expense involved for each shooting event type.
NEW BUSINESS Range Officer Pillsbury will update the calendar of events on the club web site through June, 2004.
Range Officer Pillsbury explained the range has been reserved for one and one half hours on Saturday February 14th.
President Wright opened discussion for the March general membership dinner meeting. It will be full potluck. The club will provide table service. Cost will be $3.00 per couple, $1.50 per person. The theme will be trash to treasure. Motion made and passed.
President Wright explained the proper procedures for board candidates. Range Officer Pillsbury will chair the nominating committee. Discussion was had on possibly nominating candidates at the March general membership dinner meeting.
