Board of Director’s Meeting

Call to order by Ron Carafelly
Pledge of Allegiance and Conservation Pledge
Roll Call - Present- Carafelly, Frase, McKinney, Marsh, Michalski, Anderson, Smith and Spencer
Previous Meeting’s minutes: Approved by Frase, second by Marsh.
Financial Report: Balance at end of July is $11,478.59. The raffle account is $7634.74. Approved by Michalski, second by Smith
Shoot report: $3,2950.00 in month of July. Approved by Marsh, Second by McKinney
Old Business
1. WAFB- We discussed heating and water systems at WAFB. We cannot have a well for potable water due to degree of soil contamination. All potable water will have to be brought in. Currently the heating system is waterless. Frase noted that he had a pump that he will donate for a well if needed. The paperwork to complete the deed transfer is still a few weeks away.
2. Heating repair completed at Clubhouse by Lamrock for $280.00
3. Shoot shed update: No report
4. 501C nonprofit status: Nothing new
5. Nothing.
6. Fund raising project: Few more raffle tickets returned.
7. Range Rules Update Comm.: There have been some complaints regarding trap shooters having to carry their cases to the range. Some prefer to leave their cases in their vehicles. McKinney discussed that NRA rules can be customized to accommodate the logistics of individual ranges.
8. Range improvements: At a work bee, target stands were completed and some cleaning was done.
9. NRA/ NSSF: No report.
10. Rental house status: No report.
11. Keys: Former directors Kindell and Hanley have returned their keys.
12. Additional old business: Nothing
New Business:
1. 2004-2005 Calendar: August 14 Bench Rest Shoot August 22 Trap Dinner August 28 10:00 Service Rifle 2:00 IDPA Shoot Michalski noted that the monthly steak dinner (normally on the 26th) will be cancelled, due to Trap dinner being a few days apart. McKinney recommends we develop and distribute a flyer to publicize upcoming events. The flyer could be posted at businesses in the area.
2. Additional new Business – Nothing.
New members: David Curtis, Jack Cadorette, David Wentworth, Thomas Lee, Ken Huber, Bill Schmidt, Michael Kegg. Also passed around list of members eliminated from roster due to non-payment of dues. Discussed that it may be worthwhile to mail another dues reminder. Last bill was included with newsletter and some members may have not noticed it.
Mail Bag: Chamber of Commerce newsletter and a thank you letter from Brandon Schroeder for allowing his FISH group to use our facilities. MCRGO membership affiliation has been renewed.

Next meeting is a dinner meeting. Bring a dish to pass and $5.00 per person. Main course may be ham?
