Board of Directors Meeting
December 1, 2004 Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:10pm by VP, Dave Wright.
He thanked Lynn and Nicki Pillsbury for an excellent dinner Motion was made, seconded and approved to accept minutes as they were read.
Financial report read by Dave Anderson. Motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept financial report as read.
Discussion by Chet Michalski concerning where are all the birds (clays) - - - - 3500?
Dave Wright gave summation as to why ISC gave donation to Bay-Linwood club; ie. $100.00 to their defense fund.
Shoot Report read by Lynn Pillsbury.
Built new target frames;
Painted; Built eyebrow on shooting shed.
Old Business:
Neil Miller read resolution of gratitude for the 40 years of dedication to the club, and especially the trap program by Muriel Koepp. She was pleased.
Wurtsmith update: Dave Wright has been in contact w/ Maggie of Rep. Sheltrown's office and w/ Bob Stalker. With luck it will be real soon - - - - time will tell.
Dave mentioned update on 501C status. It's on hold for now. Dave discussed tax exempt status.
There are 4 requirements necessary.
1) Real estate must be owned and operated by exemption holder
2) Claimant must be a library, benevolent, charitable, educational, or scientific institution.
3) Claimant must have been incorporated under laws of state
4) Exemption exists only when building and other property thereon are occupied by claimant solely for the purpose for which it was incorporated
Rental house still empty. Ad going in the paper.
Range rules still in progress
Lynn discussed "sight in days" and gave Big Thanks to all those who helped.
Dave Anderson put out call for someone from the club to plow snow.
New business:
Dave Wright mentioned that Ron Carafelly sent email stating that because of health issues; he would not be able to fulfill the duties of President. Dave agreed to assume Presidency till the end of term. Tom Dombroski was appointed VP
Lynn talked about shooting booths for indoor pistol league

Motion made, seconded and approved to accept the new members.
Mail Box: Letter from Mike Fisher requesting continued support of $60.00 to the National Safety Council. Motion made, seconded and passed to do so. Dave Anderson will send check.
Letter from Salvation Army requesting "bell ringers"
Discussion on proposed increase in trap shooting fee from $2.50 to $3.00. This increase is to provide for the increase in cost of birds and for maintenance of the machine. It was mentioned that no one wants to use the 2nd machine because it is in such poor condition.
Motion to adjourn meeting by Lynn Pillsbury at 8:50pm and seconded by Randy McKinney.
