VII. New Business:
A. CPL Classes 1st class 37 people 2nd class 53 people 3rd class 45 people. Lynn
has had a phone call from Sherriff Macgregor about complaints which have come
into the department concerning the instructor and what can be done to remedy
these complaints as they have a direct impact on public perception of the Iosco
Sportsman’s Club. Some complaints are the accent of the instructor and is hard
to hear. Has a lack of control on the classroom and not giving a professional
presentation. Motion Smith to talk to instructor one time to correct problems. A
board member to attend next meeting. 2nd Dixon Approved
B. Plan B Motion Gueldezopf to remedy situation is to have Club pay to send 3-5
Members to NRA Class and become instructors and work on a ration. Motion tabled
to July Meeting
C. Work Bee Wurtsmith Backings Done, Carpets Cleaned, and Dusting is done
D. Membership Renewals Deposits $3500.00
E. Candidates for Board of Directors. Willing to run for another term Dixon,

I. Open Diction:
1. Motion by Majewski Make 300 yard range a perk for club members only. Uses for
non members will include sponsored events (I.E. High Power: Bench Rest: ETC).
Matches and practice events at no extra charge to non members except in the case
of a cost assigned to practice event. Also, if a member so chooses to shoot on
the 300 yd range, he may also bring one guest to accompany him and shoot at this
range at the current non member cost. The member must stay at the firing line
with the non member at all times. This will also apply to all other rifle rangeS
over 100 yds on Club Grounds. 2nd Smith Motion Approved Nay Votes Wojahn and

2. Greg will get Stonecrete put in at 25yd ½ $1100.00 Will also pick up steel
targets for Cowboy action shooting IDPA will do Work Bee to clean up range

6. Dombrowski would like well moved to top of capital improvements list. Will
help with mowing Wurtsmith and dirt moving until Club gets a Tractor
7. Troy will take fax machine from Tawas up to Wutsmith to see if it will work
any better. Moved 100 yds dirt on the 25 yd line. Five Stand will be up and
running this weekend. The American Legion will print the newsletter for us.
8. Smith gave out copies of Capital Expenditures Proposal for projects and
equipment. Would like board members to review and send changes or E-Mail changes
to him. It is emphasized that this is a working document to have changes made to
it.
9. Pillsbury New membership cards need to be ordered. The backhoe at Wutsmith is
going to be picked up at the end of June so we need to get as much work out of
it as possible ASAP
